The Grace Victoria Quarter development consists of 106 apartments and 260m2 GFA of retail over 10 storeys with two levels of basement parking beneath. The building is complete and now occupied.
The Project
Dodd Civil Consultants provided civil engineering design and reporting services as part of the project development team. Dodd Civil was engaged to achieve Resource, Building and engineering consent approvals; to prepare construction drawings and documentation, and to provide construction observation services for completion and compliances – This included:
- 8,500m3 of bulk earthworks including preparation of an Earthworks Management Plan
- Groundwater drainage for the perimeter piling and basement subfloor
- Street works including basement entrances and exterior pavement reconfiguration
- Stormwater and wastewater network extensions and connections
- Watermain realignment
